Last Stop...Venice, Italy

My last stop in Italy was Venice!  We took a train their and stayed in a hotel for 1 night!  It was one of my favorite places because of the water, boats and cute little town!  We took a boat tower, shopped, fed the birds and explored!  After Venice, I went back to Florence and flew home!  I am finally home and had an amazing 2 months in Italy!  Thank you everyone for following my blog!  If you ever want to travel to Italy ask me for lots of ideas and fun things to do!

Wine Tasting!

We went wine tasting in Montalcino, Italy all day! This is a small town 30 minutes outside of Siena!  It was a lot of fun to try and buy different types and kinds of wine!

Siena, Italy

We stayed at a cute little bed and breakfast for 2 nights in Siena!  We got to see their clock tower and Duoma!  It was a very small and cute town!  We hiked 300 stairs to get to the top of the clock tower and the view was gorgeous!

Santa Croce

On Sunday we attended mass at the Santa Croce in Florence!  We also did a tour afterwards!  This church is very famous because it holds the tombs of many famous people!  The architecture and paintings in this church are incredible!  There is also a museum and outside area attached to the church!

Pisa, Italy

Zac and I took a day trip to Pisa from Florence!  It was an hour train ride each way!  There is not much to see in Pisa other then the leaning tower of Pisa! We had lunch here and walked around then headed back to Florence!

Boboli Gardens

Here are pictures from Boboli Gardens in Florence! It is a beautiful park full of art work, fountains, scupltures, and gardens!  Zac, myself and his mom walked around here for about 3 hours!  It was gorgeous and looks out to all of Florence!

A brand new Hard Rock Cafe opened in Florence this week!  A group of us went for a girls 21st birthday in our group! It was a lot of fun but the food was not that good!  The inside had 3 bars, a big stage and was 2 stories!!

9 hour private boat tour of Sorrento, Almalfi Coast and Island of Capri

Saturday, June 18th:  We took a private 9 hour boat tour!  It took us to the Island of Capri where we got to ride up to the top of the Island and shop and eat!  We went swimming, cliff jumping, snorkeling and swam inside all 3 grottos and many other caves!  It was very hot and relaxing!  The boat also provided all the food and drinks we wanted!  It was a great way to see a lot of places at one time!
